Policies & FAQ

Production & Shipping

As a small business that is operated solely by me (with the occasional tech help from my wonderful husband) I try my hardest to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. I keep a very small inventory which means most orders will be printed on demand. I make sure each print is trimmed, inspected, signed, and packaged with attention to detail and lots of love. This process can take me anywhere from 7 - 10 business days.

Once your package has been dropped at the post office it should arrive to you within 3 - 5 business days for United States (and territories) residents. If you are outside of the U.S. please keep in mind that shipping time may take anywhere from 7 days - 4 weeks depending on location. (shipping times may be longer due to COVID delays.)

Returns & Cancellations

All orders that have been processed, shipped, and/or received cannot be returned or canceled. However, if you have recently placed an order and would like to cancel it please email me at Jenna@JennaMcKellCreates.com. If your order has not been processed I will let you know and we can work together to cancel that order.

Damaged Prints

I carefully inspect and package each print to make sure they arrive at their new homes in pristine condition. In the unlikely case that you received a damaged print please email pictures of your print along with the packaging to Jenna@JennaMcKellCreates.com so we can resolve any issues.

Maximum Order Quantity

At this time I do not provide bulk sales. The maximum amount of prints that I can safely fit in a rigid mailer is 10. If you would like to order more than 10 prints these must be purchased in separate orders. If you place an order with more than the stated maximum I will be unable to process it and the sale will be cancelled.

Prints & Packaging

All prints are carefully printed by me. I use quality 100% cotton archival matte paper with a mostly smooth (very subtly textured) surface. This paper is very sturdy and has a bright white finish which allows for maximum color accuracy. I print using a 10 color inkjet printer to produce the most beautiful giclee prints. Once printed I trim each print with the utmost of care making sure there is no transfer of dust or oils. Once trimmed, I carefully inspect each print and hand sign the back bottom corner using a graphite pencil. I then protect each print with it’s own cello bag to prevent dust and scratches during the packaging and shipping processes.

During packaging I carefully sandwich each cello protected print in between two sturdy cardboard backers which I then tape together to prevent shifting. This then is wrapped with some love in white, acid free, tissue paper, and slipped into a rigid mailer. Each rigid mailer gets stamped with a ‘Do Not Bend’ stamp and is ready for delivery.

Once you receive your package please open it with care. Although it has been protected thoroughly the use of scissors or other sharp objects could potentially damage the print.

Displaying or Framing your Print

Now that you have one of my prints in your home what is the best way to care for and display it? Make sure to handle the print with care and make sure no dust, debris, or finger oils are transferred to the print. I recommend framing the prints in matted frames to give it a lovely gallery finish. For 5x7 prints look for an 8x10 frame with a 5x7 mat. For 8x10 prints look for an 11x14 frame with an 8x10 mat. And for 11x14 prints look for a 16x20 frame with an 11x14 mat. Carefully clean the frame and use a very small piece of acid free tape to attach the top of the print to the back of the mat. Once framed your print is ready to be displayed.
